How do I place my ships?

Tap a ship tile to select it, then tap a cell on the grid to place it. Tap again to rotate before placing, or use the rotate button. Tap "Auto-Place" to have the app place all ships randomly.

What are the difficulty levels?

Easy — the AI shoots at random. Great for beginners.
Medium — after a hit, the AI hunts in the direction of the ship.
Hard — the AI uses parity-based probability hunting to locate your fleet efficiently.

How is my score calculated?

You earn points for each game you win. Harder difficulty levels award more points. Your lifetime score and win rate are tracked on your profile.

How does the leaderboard work?

The global leaderboard ranks all players by lifetime score. Your current rank is shown on your profile. Ranks update after each completed game.

Is my progress saved?

Yes. All stats and scores are saved to your account and sync across devices when you sign in.

Are there ads or in-app purchases?

No. PaperFleets is completely free with no ads and no in-app purchases.
